Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides complete administrative support as well as develops, implements and maintains support systems, while operating in a fast-paced, confidential, multi-tasking environment.

Duties include:
• Receive client inquiries on behalf of the Consultant and determine appropriate course of action. This may include proactively investigating and resolving client issues and recording the nature of the inquiry and advising the Consultant.
• Contact clients and schedule appointments for the Consultant.
• Assist in the preparation of a prospect or client file prior to a client meeting. It may include tracking any post-meeting action items.
• Assist with the implementation of the Consultant’s marketing plan. Social media experience would be beneficial.
• Maintain client files, process transactions and bring forward items.
• Support client events by booking sites and sending marketing material to clients and prospects.
• Other tasks such as performing computer back-ups, compliance follow-up, ordering office supplies, gathering information on company and other websites.

Qualifications / attributes:
• Minimum of two years administrative experience preferred but not essential
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift priorities as required
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and high client service commitment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Receptionist to join our Brokerage. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer skills and comprehension with a passion for providing excellent customer service. This in in office position no remote applications will be considered. possible full time once trained if interested.

Wages to start:
ECE’s: $22 an hour plus $6 gov wage enhancement
ECEA, EA: $20 per hour
RA or equivalent: $18 per hour

The Youth Peer Support (YPS) Worker participates as a member of the Foundry Port Hardy team. Drawing on their own lived experience of mental health or substance use challenges, the YPS worker helps youth and young adults with navigating service and connects them with Foundry and/or community resources. The YPS worker offers peer-based mentoring and emotional support and works collaboratively with youth, their families and members of the care team. This position assists with the delivery of walk-in services and offers support both on a one-on-one basis and in a group setting. The YPS worker acts as an advocate and role model, helping young people and their families recognize that with hope, recovery is possible.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Plays a key role in ensuring that the Centre offers a safe, welcoming, inclusive and youth-friendly environment; supports their engagement and participation in Centre services;
• Assists youth with the activities of daily living including time management, organization and interpersonal communication;
• Accompanies youth to appointments in the community;
• Coordinates, participates in or assists with planning recreation and social activities; including peer support groups
• Provides support to aid with reducing youth’s distress, improve or maintain functioning and enable independence and active participation;

The position will provide administrative support to the Better at Home Program through a range of administrative and co-ordination tasks, including direct support to the Program Co-ordinator, assistance with co-ordination of volunteers, providing information to community contacts and assistance to clients.
The Administrative Support staff person will initially work from a home office until new offices are established in Campbell River, at which time the staff will be required to work from the office (the office is anticipated to be in place by late summer/early fall of 2024).
