Foundry Work and Education

Formerly known as Foundry Works, this is a strengths-based, individualized youth employment program that helps youth (ages 15 – 24 who are not working or attending school full-time) achieve their employment and educational goals while providing wraparound community supports.

Job Postings and Openings:

  • North Island Job Bank - visit our job postings page for 24/7 access to a user-friendly, searchable database of current opportunities
  • Hot Jobs radio broadcasts Monday through Friday at 9:05am with Coast Country in Campbell River and weekdays at 9:10 am on CFNI in Port Hardy.

Campbell River Resource Centre Drop-In

  • Mon–Fri: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm & Thursdays: 8:30am - 6:00pm
  • Free photocopies, fax (it's true, some folks are still using fax machines), telephones
  • High speed Internet on a 10 station computer lab in Campbell River and Port Hardy offices, with community access sites in other North Island communities (contact us for details)
  • Information and resources on job search, careers, training, schools, and local labour market information

Port Hardy Resource Centre Drop In

  • Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 - 4:30 pm & Thursdays: 9:30 - 5:30
  • Free photocopies, fax, telephones
