Lemare Forestry Ltd. is accepting applications for an experienced 2nd Loader/Bucker to join our forestry operations in the Port McNeill area. We are looking for a safety-conscious, dependable individual who is comfortable working outdoors in a coastal forestry environment.
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience as a logging bucker.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work outdoors.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in town or in camp, as required.
• Buck timber safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspect and maintain chainsaws and related equipment.
• Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Communicate and work safely with other crew members.
• Follow company safety policies and safe work procedures.
Previous experience in BC coastal terrain and first aid certification are assets.
