We also provide an increasing selection of Warehouse and Distribution services in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Nature of Position: Monday to Friday, full-time 30-40 hours per week Wage: $25 - $30/hr experience/ticket dependent What You’ll Do Aquatrans is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Technician to support operations at our Coal Harbour Warehouse and Omega Dock Warehouse. Working as part of our North Island team, you will help ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of freight, supplies, and equipment directly supporting the Aquaculture industry. This role combines warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and customer service in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities •Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. •Load and unload freight from trucks, barges, and other transport vehicles. •Receive, verify, and process incoming and outgoing shipments. •Consolidate, package, label, and prepare freight for shipment. •Maintain accurate inventory records and data entry. •Keep warehouse and yard areas clean, organized, and operational. •Provide professional customer service and support. •Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. •Participate in safety inspections and initiatives. •Assist with other operational duties as required. Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications - The successful candidate will have: Valid forklift ticket and safe operating experience. Experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, or logistics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fit and able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility to work additional hours when required. Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with reliable transporation. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications - The following would be considered assets: Propane Dispensing Certification. Crane Operator Certification and experience. Experience working in a marine terminal, dockside, or yard environment.
