Details
We're looking for a friendly and reliable Event Host to help set up and run interactive photo experiences at corporate events, brand activations, parties, weddings and community events.
Most events are between Campbell River and Nanaimo, primarily Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings. This is casual, event-based work, typically 1 to 6+ events per month depending on the season and your availability.
No photography or event experience is required. Paid training is provided.
$30 to $35/hour to start. Travel time is paid. A company vehicle is available for many events, or mileage is reimbursed when using your own vehicle.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, personable, reliable and comfortable working with guests at events. You should have good attention to detail, common sense and be comfortable with basic everyday technology such as iPads, Wi-Fi, printers and connecting equipment.
A valid driver's licence is required.
A company vehicle is available for many events, although you should also have access to a safe, reliable vehicle when needed. If you use your own vehicle for an event, mileage is reimbursed in addition to your hourly pay. You must be comfortable driving between Campbell River and Nanaimo, including some evening and nighttime driving.
You must also be able to lift and carry event equipment weighing up to approximately 50 lbs (23 kg).
People who have previous experience with customer service, hospitality, serving, bartending, retail or similar experience is an asset, but not required.
