Details
Functions of this role include: - Work directly with the Site Superintendent and Foreman to complete carpentry tasks related to bridge construction - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Build forms, falsework, and structural components for bridge projects - Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, steel, and other construction materials - Assist with installation of rebar, concrete pours, and other structural elements - Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools and construction equipment - Rig Cranes and give proper hand signals for material placement - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Participate in safety meetings, and site orientations - Follow all safety protocols and hold a valid fall protection ticket. - Typically working 10-12hours a day 7 days a week. Located - North Vancouver
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred minimum 2 year of Carpentry experience (Bridge Construction Preferred)
