Island Health is hiring Cook I staff to join Food Services teams across multiple facilities on Vancouver Island. We’re hiring for full-time, part-time, casual, and temporary positions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals using a variety of cooking methods
(roasting, frying, grilling, baking, steaming, boiling)
• Prepare and portion therapeutic diet meals
• Serve meals and ensure tray accuracy
• Assign tasks and provide direction to designated staff
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
