Details
We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and enthusiastic individual to join our shellfish farming crew for a rewarding work experience on the water.
The job is based out of Heriot Bay on Quadra Island. The applicant must be able to get the marina on their own by 8:30 each day and earlier on harvest days. We will commute to the farm by boat and most work will be done on the water. Some days will be spent on beaches or in the scallop yard on Quadra assembling gear.
At this point we are a small crew (2-3) with a large workload, so a positive attitude and strong work ethic is a must. This is a fast paced and physically demanding job and the applicant must be comfortable learning how to run hydraulic equipment and other light duty machinery.
Pay is based on competence and there is room long term for the right candidate to help grow the business and earn more.
Qualifications & Experience
Marine training and experience an asset, but not necessary.
Must have valid Drivers License
