Join Mowi Canada West as a temporary full-time Sea Site Technician and learn more about growing salmon in a safe and sustainable manner while enjoying the beautiful marine environment of coastal BC.
Applicants with aquaculture experience and/or relevant post-secondary education will be given preference, as we are a company that embraces constant learning and industry professionalism. Responsibilities:
Feeding and performing all other required care for our fish
Cleaning, power-washing, and sanitizing to ensure a pristine environment for our fish and our employees
Ensuring accurate reporting, record-keeping, and document management
Conducting environmental sampling and plankton monitoring using specialized technology and equipment
Assisting with fish health sampling, and grading fish by size
Monitoring fish behaviour, appearance, and health
Operating a forklift and other site equipment when authorized and trained

Camp shift of 8 days on and 6 days off
