) Details
- Deliver furniture, appliances, and other store merchandise to customers’ homes throughout the North Island.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products while providing excellent customer service.
- Assemble furniture, appliances, displays, and other products for showroom and sales floor presentation.
- Receive incoming freight and unload delivery trucks.
- Accurately inspect, organize, and store inventory within the warehouse.
- wages are open for discussion.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard area.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance of delivery vehicles.
- Ensure delivery trucks are kept clean, fueled, and operating properly, reporting any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and stock movement between store locations as required.
- Support retail staff with product handling, customer pickups, and other operational duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and appliances safely.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Forklift experience is an asset, but not required
