Camp Watchman / Boat Operator We are seeking a reliable and self-sufficient Camp Watchman for a remote camp position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong practical skills, and is comfortable operating a boat in a coastal environment. What We Offer: •Food and accommodations included •Unique opportunity to live and work in a remote camp setting •Varied, hands-on work in a scenic environment Key Responsibilities: •Transport crew to and from camp & job site by boat as required •Monitor and maintain camp safety and security •Perform general maintenance and odd jobs around camp (repairs, upkeep, etc.) •Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working order
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements: •Valid SVOP (Small Vessel Operator Proficiency) certification •Comfortable and experienced operating a boat in local waters •Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Assets: •Level 3 First Aid certification •General maintenance and repair skills •Previous remote camp or marine experience
