These positions are funded by Canada Summer Jobs. Applicant must be a student 16-25 years old, currently enrolled in school, and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Qualifications & Experience
Responsibilities: - Be responsible for the health safety, and well being of children at all times. - Assist with planning and implementing of daily activities that are age-appropriate and engaging. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, families and coworkers. - Support children during play, routines, learning activities and transitions. - Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment, including general cleaning duties. - Follow all Stepping Stones policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Applicant should have: - Genuine interest in working with young children. - Be fun, creative, responsible, and motivated individual. - Be positive, flexible and reliable with a good attitude. - Be able to take direction and work well as part of a team. - Have a strong sense of responsibility and awareness of child safety.
