Details
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic with forestry equipment experience to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing logging and forestry machinery to ensure maximum uptime and safe operations in remote and rugged environments.
Willing to consider private contractor and possible 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
Qualifications & Experience
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• 3+ years of experience working on forestry or heavy logging equipment
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently in remote environments
• Valid driver’s license - with driver's abstract
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak logging season
