Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostics and servicing vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of repair and progress reports
- Following strict safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be familiar with Ford F150 and 250-550 Super Duty pickups. Experience with highway logging tucks an asset.
- Assisting in Maintenance to highway logging trucks and trailers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Journeyman certification a preference but 3rd/4th year apprentice would be considered.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in a forestry or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Detail- Oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Level 3 First Aid an asset
- Valid driver's license with up to date driver's abstract.
