Job Description: 090 Builders Group is a large construction group that requires both equipment and prefabricated walls to be relocated to our many job sites throughout Vancouver Island, and various locations across Western Canada. Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications: •Must have, no exception -Class 1 driver’s license •Must have Clear Commercial Driver’s Abstract •Must have a minimum of 3-5 years Class 1 driving experience. •Able to perform vehicle inspections •Follow and understands the duties assigned by the supervisor/foreman •Working in adverse conditions •Experience driving in adverse conditions •Non driving time – labour support/loading trailer(s) for trips •Forklift/Telehandler experience is an asset •Understanding and navigating construction site area limits •Check and adjust load securement as required •Comply with highway weigh scale procedures as directed by transportation officials. •Keep accurate driver’s logs as required to document mileage, hours and material hauled •Follows the established Safety Rules and Regulations, well maintaining a safe and clean working environment. •Good understanding of time-management and logistics •Diligent, conscientious, punctual individual that enjoys new job scopes, adaptation, and the satisfaction of completing tasks through proactive interaction as well as self-motivation. •Smartphone – Data plan Experience: •Class 1 driving: 3 years (required) •Language: English (required) •Licence/Certification: Class 1 Licence (required) •Willingness to travel: 100% (required) •Work Location: On the road
