As a Co-op student, you will learn and experience: •Practical, hands-on work experience directly related to your specific field of study including: learning about BC Hydro Telecom solutions, design processes, practices and documents by completing the assigned work in projects and initiatives. •Learning and training opportunities, including opportunities to network with your division. •Learn all about other divisions and initiatives at BC Hydro. •Take advantage of the opportunity to explore future career options. Depending on what team the successful candidate is hired into, duties can also include some of the following: •Provide assistance and support to electrical engineering teams •Work mainly in the office, but may participate in some field work •Participate in high value, multi-disciplinary project work and gain valuable insight into the organization and implementation of large capital projects. Gain exposure to the exciting and increasingly growing hydro electric industry. What we offer: •As a condition of employment at BC Hydro, a background check clearance will be required.
