We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Overhead Crane Technician to join our growing team. Position Summary: As an Overhead Crane Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing overhead cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipment. This is a field-based position, involving travel to client sites across Vancouver Island. Key Responsibilities: • Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on overhead cranes and hoists. • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and structural components of lifting systems. • Complete installations of new crane systems or upgrades to existing equipment. • Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs efficiently and safely. • Prepare service reports, safety documentation, and job completion records. • Ensure compliance with all applicable CSA/ASME standards and provincial regulations. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment on client sites.
