This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining outboards, inboards, trailers, and related marine systems. Work ranges from routine service to major rebuilds, with occasional on-site or dockside jobs.

Responsibilities
-Assist with servicing outboards, inboards, and trailers.
-Learn to diagnose and repair marine engines and systems.
-Perform oil/filter changes, impellers, plugs, belts, and general maintenance.
-Operate boats for testing and moving around the yard/dock.
-Keep work areas organized and safe.
-Support the team with repairs, installations, and customer jobs.

What We Offer

Competitive wage (based on experience and training).

-On-the-job training in the marine trade that can turn into a paid apprenticeship.
-Year-round work in a small, supportive team.
-Variety — every day brings new challenges.
-The chance to turn a passion for engines into a marine career.

Qualifications & Experience
-Mechanical background — experience with automotive, small engines, heavy equipment, or related trades.
-Comfortable operating a boat and towing/moving trailers (or willing to learn).
-Basic tool knowledge and good problem-solving skills.
-Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
-Valid driver’s license.
