Details
Responsibilities and duties:
- Handle large sums of money and look after day-to-day operation
- Do cash floats daily
- Reconcile daily bar revenue
- Deal with Brewery/business representatives
- Do daily BCLC (Keno, Pull Tabs, Lotto 6/49, etc.) revenue
- Hire and manage bartender schedules, training
- Submit staff payroll bi-Weekly
- Submit all operating incomes/expenses to bookkeeper
- Look after the Legion Hall bookings and set-up
- Weekly Bank deposits
- Monthly inventory required on the 1st of each month
- Order bar, office, janitorial supplies
- Look after the operation of the ATM (balancing, resupply)
- Record minutes of all Monthly Executives and General Meetings and submit minutes of meetings to President for approval
- Overlook and report any maintenance or repairs requirements to the President/Vice-President
- Look after the security intrusion system.
- Handle customer complaints
Full time 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours ($4000.00 per month). Monthly salary to be paid on the 15th and the final day of the month. An additional $100.00 will be paid for use of personal vehicle.
Three month probationary period, 5 paid sick days after probationary period and 2 weeks paid Vacation per year after 3 month probationary period.

- A criminal background check is mandatory and will be paid by the employer.
- Must have Serving it Right and Food Safe
- Must be able to fill in as bartender in case of emergency
- Must be able to obtain “BCLC” Lottery License
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds (inventory)
- Must familiarize themselves with Legion policy and procedures
