Details
Wilderness Seaplanes was formerly the seaplane division of Pacific Coastal Airlines. We are now operating as a separate company, but we are still closely associated with Pacific Coastal Airlines. We operate 2 Grumman Gooses and 3 Beavers. We provide year round service to the Central Coast from Port Hardy and Bella Bella.
We have a competitive pay and benefits program and we offer travel privileges to our staff and families.
Currently we are looking for a Full Time year round VFR Dispatcher in Port Hardy, BC.
We have in the past had several dispatchers that were private pilots, or working towards a commercial license, and this has worked quite well. For the right applicant this could be a path to a flight crew position within Wilderness Seaplanes. The expectation is that this position would require a minimum 1 year commitment before we would entertain the idea of transition to a pilot position.
The North Island is a great place to live where there is still plenty of freedom, affordable housing, great outdoor activities, and easy access to the urban areas of BC. We may have temporary accommodation available in our hanger residence.
We have vacancy now and we will be filling the position as soon as possible, so, if you think you have the right attributes to work with us on our wild Westcoast, please submit your application to [email protected] no later than June 6 2025.

Qualifications & Experience
Willing to move to the North Island, Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Coal Harbour, Port Alice.
Available to work on a flexible and possibly rotating schedule as we are an airline that operates 363 days/per year.

Able to work independently and be ready to do a wide variety of tasks related to the operational control and management of aircraft.
