As a… Cabin Care Volunteer you will:
Provide the first level of care for abandoned and feral cats brought into our Intake Facility “The Cabin”. There you will visit with the cats in a calm and soothing manner, monitor behaviour, clean cages, provide water and food. This position is ideal for someone who loves cats and would like to help them learn to trust humans. Shifts are a.m. and p.m. scheduled monthly. A time commitment of at least one shift a month is required.

Provide a needy cat with the opportunity to be socialized to a home environment. By taking an animal in need temporarily into your home, you free up space in the Intake shelter and give a cat the time and care it needs to be ready for adoption.
All supplies (food, litter, toys etc) and support are provided by CRPAWS

- At least 18 years of age
- Willing to submit to a Criminal Record Check
- CRPAWS Membership
Foster Home Specific Requirements:
- Be able to provide a safe/warm room separate from other pets
Cabin Care Specific Requirements:
- Personal Vehicle Required
