Details
The Campbell River Women's Centre is a drop-in space offering a refuge for women and children. We provide basic needs such as clothing, toiletries, snacks, access to phone and computer, as well as counselling, advocacy, social, educational and referral services.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

HOURS:
Centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 2:00pm. Volunteer shifts are usually 1 to 4 hours depending on your availability.

VOLUNTEERS ASSIST WITH:
- Sorting and placement of donations.
- Light housekeeping.
- Assisting staff to support women as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
All CRNITS volunteer roles require the following:
- Ability to work well in a busy environment
- Ability to multitask
- Able to work from a feminist perspective
- Required to submit a criminal record check

Women's Centre:
- Experience supporting vulnerable women
- Organizing donations
- Light housekeeping and food preparation
