Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Their role is critical in the Logging and transportation sector, where machinery breakdowns can lead to significant delays and financial losses.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnostic Services: Identifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.
• Repair Services: Fixing or replacing faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Emergency Services: Providing on-site emergency repairs to minimize downtime and restore machinery functionality swiftly.
• Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and prevent future breakdowns.
