The Sointula Co-op is hiring an Assistant Manager on a permanent basis.

What you’ll do:
As the Assistant Manager you will manage and oversee the operational and financial performance of the Grocery, Hardware, and C-store locations. You will also provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Co-op team.
• Oversee and monitor the budget, staffing, and inventory within the Co-op and identify areas for performance improvement.
• Ensure standards for the marketing, merchandising, human resources, health and safety, and asset protection within the department are met.
• Maintain inventory controls, store image and fixed assets, and perform administrative duties.
• Ensure proper training is in place for first aid requirements, propane dispensing etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
• Work with management on opening store hours and be flexible to accommodate requirements,

The Team: You will provide support and supervision to a team of staff, while reporting to and working alongside the General Manager. This team strives to cultivate a culture of transparency, community, and fun.
