Details
We are recruiting for a Deckhand to join our Operations Support teams. Reporting to the Vessel Skippers, you will be responsible for all Deckhand duties aboard the vessels, assisting in moving fish and materials and providing support services to area farms. The ability to get along with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures is paramount. We look for people who are self-motivated and have a positive problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others as well as security of the vessel.
• Strictly follow specified Mowi Canada West policies, operating procedures, and company
standards.
• Participate in safety and emergency training and drills and crew familiarizations.
• Handle fish with attention to fish husbandry and welfare.
• Handle seine and harvest pen rigging set up / tear down, grower nets, and movement of freight.
• General work boat activities and duties

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
• Domestic Vessel Safety (DVS), Marine Emergency Duties (MED), and certificates in ROC-M /
MC (radio license), Marine First Aid are preferred.
• Deckhand experience or a combination of vessel certification and related work experience.
