THE OPPORTUNITY:
Western Forest Products is currently hiring for an Office Janitor/Residential Cleaner to join our Nootka Forest Operation in Gold River, BC.

What We Offer:
- This position is a part time non-union hourly position with a wage rate of $25.75 per hour;
- A safe work environment;

Shifts:
Hours of work are flexible (generally outside of regular office hours 7am – 5pm).

This position is considered safety sensitive, the successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test along with a criminal background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Janitor required for office, and occasional residential cleaning in Gold River
- Duties include but are not limited to the cleaning of company facilities, offices, and company housing. Duties could also include some yard work around the office if the candidate is able and interested in additional hours of work
- All cleaning products are supplied.

Qualifications & Experience
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
- Janitorial experience in commercial and or residential cleaning
- WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain


Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies
- Ability to lift up to thirty pounds
- Able to work unsupervised
- Excellent safety record and strong work ethic.
- Excellent time management skills
- Accountable and dependable
