The Wage Subsidy program helps to connect people who may require on-the-job training and work experience with employers who can offer support, supervision, and training to their new employee. The temporary subsidy covers a portion of an employee wages in exchange for on-the-job training and often leads to continued employment beyond the end date of the wage subsidy agreement.
To find out more, join Wage Subsidy Coordinator Gay Bruner for an upcoming information session.
These sessions will be offered bi weekly on Thursday afternoons from 4 pm to 5 pm, and will alternate between virtual and in person delivery at 920 Alder street in Campbell River.
Sessions will provide an overview of the Wage Subsidy program, information on basic eligibility criteria, and discussion on how this tool can enhance a job seekers competitive edge.
