Talent Talks - Simply Work with AI

Campbell River employers, entrepreneurs, and professionals are invited to join Talent Talks: AI for Business, a free hands-on workshop led by certified AI Trainer and Educator Jennifer Hufnagel.

Learn practical ways artificial intelligence can support business operations, improve communication, increase efficiency, and strengthen day-to-day workflows through guided examples and live demonstrations.

Participants must bring:
• A laptop
• A ChatGPT account (Free accounts welcome)

New Program for Campbell River Youth

Foundry IM&M+ is for youth (17–24) who:

  • Are out of school
  • Are unemployed
  • Feel stuck or unsure what’s next
  • Want real support 

This program helps them:
✔ Discover their strengths and build confidence
✔ Set goals that matter to THEM
✔ Gain real-life skills
✔ Connect with community
✔ Move toward work, training, or education

Single Parent Employment Initiative Info Sessions

If you are a single parent that has been receiving income or disability assistance for at least three months, you may be eligible for training and support to help you secure a long-term job that works for you and your family.

Join WorkBC Centre-North Island online or in-person at their Campbell River location on Tuesday morning from 11 am to noon to find out more!
