Chef de Partie: Your West Coast Adventure Awaits!

Come join our dynamic and adventurous team at Nootka Marine Adventures. If you love the remote outdoors and delighting customers, this position may be for you!

We are dedicated to preserving the timeless art of sport fishing while nurturing the next generation of anglers. Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the environment.

This full-time position has an anticipated start date of approximately June 8, 2025, and an end date of approximately September 16,2025. Contract length is subject to change based the demands of the season.

Duties of Chef de Partie:
· Listen for and follow Chef’s instructions.
· Prepare menu items for guests using standard recipes in an efficient manner to standard.
· Assist with supervision and mentorship of line and prep cooks.
· Communicating anticipated issues to the Chef.
· Prepare ingredients, set up stations, and stock supplies.
· Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, dishwash, and complete all cleaning duties as required.
· Ensure production, preparation and presentation is of the highest quality at all times.
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.

Qualifications & Experience
Requirements for Chef de Partie:
· Minimum of 2 years of restaurant kitchen experience.
· Food Safe Level 1.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work positively under pressure.
· WHMIS Certification.
· Ability to life 30lbs and stand for prolonged periods in close proximity to others.
