Details:
*Position is for before & after school*
-Provide guidance and care for 12-15 school aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a fully licensed facility.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to engage and educate children
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of the children
2 positions open
Hours:
split shift 7:00am-9:00am & 2:00pm-6:00 pm Monday - Friday. (30 hours per week)
OR 2:00pm-6:00pm (20 hours per week)
potentially flexible with start/finish times
Different hours on pro D days, spring break and summer.
Wage is determined based on education and experience
Willing to train the right individual
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with children
- ECE, ECEA, EA, 20 hour responsible adult certification, or equivalent. (or willing to obtain)
-first aid and CPR/criminal records check
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
-Positive attitude
