What Motivates You
You are an experienced Chef Tournant looking for a new opportunity bring new ideas to our menus ranging from sandwiches to high end plated dishes. You want to work Monday to Friday from 6:00AM – 2:30PM, with flexibility to start earlier as required. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits effective immediately!
Your contributions to the team include:
Under the direction of Food Services Manager, Chef Tournant will work collaboratively with Head Chef/supervisor and other kitchen staff to prepare a variety of buffet style meals for our in-office cafeteria. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and must have a strong attention for detail and should expect to be rotated into different areas with or without advance notice depending on Company demands.
• Following and adding to established menus for both lunch for 200 people and plate service for private functions and Aviation meals.
• Cooking in all areas: sandwich, salad, and Hot side.
• Ensuring all food is prepared fresh and is of the highest quality.
• Working with broad culinary knowledge as our menu changes daily.
• Ensuring that the kitchen prep area is always maintained at the highest level of cleanliness.
• Following established sanitation procedures
• Ensuring food is stored in appropriate containers, labeled, and rotated to ensure high standards of freshness, minimizing waste and maximizing quality.

Qualifications & Experience:
What you need to be successful:
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in catering and plated food services.
• Experience in high production volume restaurants.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proactive team player, problem solver, and customer service driven.
• Passionate about hospitality.
