Details:
-The Technician will be responsible for checking,repairing and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment
- Preventative maintenance inspections/service of trucks and trailers.
- Use of diagnostic testing software
- Perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot customer’s complaints, diagnoses cause of any malfunctions, and performs repair with input/guidance from service deptartment.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Completion of required paperwork, record all work performed on the repair order.
- Ongoing updated and upgrade training of relevant products coming into the workplace.
- Comply with federal, provincial/state and local regulations.
- Aware and follow hazardous waste disposal, occupational health & safety regulations, etc
Willing to train
We have a 11,400 sq ft heated shop.
Clean, professional well run shop with onfloor chargehand and service manager.
Benefits, wages comparable to the forest industry D.O.E.
Monday to Friday 8-4:30
Some after hours and emergency callout sharing with existing shop crew as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with On Highway OTR and Log Truck repairs and maintenance
No Red Seal not a deal breaker
CVSE inspection certification preffered but not a deal breaker.
