Port Hardy Senior Housing is seeking a part-time Yard Maintenance/Gardener.

This person should enjoy gardening and show initiative in seeing what needs to be done and take pride in doing it. The ideal candidate will enjoy working alone and also interacting with seniors.

The position is very flexible and requires approximately 12 hours per month – more in the summer and less in the winter months.

The applicant should be able to carry 30 pounds (bags of ice melt in winter) and able to work with gas powered lawn equipment.

Basic duties include:
• Cut grass and remove clippings as necessary
• Weed beds as necessary
• Clean sidewalks and de-ice as necessary
• Approximately 12 hours per month

Pay: $325/month
