The Campbell River Beacon Club is a local non-profit organization that has been making a difference in the community for over 25 years. Adults with a diagnosed mental illness can access programs and services and are supported in a safe and comfortable club house environment. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the club including fund raising, volunteer recruitment, grant applications, financial reporting and supervision of staff and volunteers. Leadership, operational planning and management, community relations and advocacy are key areas of responsibility.
We are looking for a motivated leader who is enthusiastic and creative and is passionate about making a difference. You will have a strong and positive working relationship with a forward thinking Board of Directors.
This position is 30 hours/week. Salary is commensurate with experience and within budget.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong administrative skills
- 3-5 years experience in a non-profit environment
- Proven success in fund raising and grant applications
- Experience in the field of mental health is an asset
