Wacor Holdings Ltd. is seeking a full-time Superintendent with 5 to 10+ years of experience in managing small to large civil infrastructure projects. Thorough understanding of the following is essential:
- Land Clearing and Site Development
- Complete greenfield residential subdivision construction
- Underground water main system installation
- Underground waste water and sewage system installation
- Underground storm drainage system installation
- Installation of shallow underground third party utility conduit installations including power and communication systems
- Roads, paving, curb and sidewalk construction
- Mass excavations
- Working in or near sensitive biological habitats including both fresh and salt water environments
- Industrial, Commercial and Institutional building civil site servicing working in a team environment in conjunction with multiple sub trades

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to effectively manage and monitor work activities of a crew of up to 20 to 25 employees
- Maintain on-going communication with clients, engineers, the project management team, suppliers and trades
- Ensure that work complies with drawings, specifications, costs and schedules
- Provide technical direction to work crews as needed
- Ensure the project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards
- Adhere to OH&S policies, procedures and practices
- Advise senior management of potential problems/challenges, work interferences, or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts
- Perform additional assignments as directed by senior management as required for successful project completion
- Promote and monitor compliance with project safety programs and environmental protection requirements in co-operation with the Health & Safety and Environmental Coordinators
Qualifications & Experience: 
Experience/Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- MS Project experience considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 5 - 10 years of industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in a superintendent level position
