Details:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the quality and presentation of all foods prepared & products meets the company standards as prescribed in the kitchen manual.
- Ensure cleanliness in all food preparation and storage areas, and that each member of the kitchen staff is aware if the importance of the need for cleanliness
- Control and secure all food stocks at arrival of delivery and keep food waste down to a minimum
- To operate and clean all kitchen equipment in a safe, and in a responsible manner.
- Report all defective Equipment immediately to Head Chef or first cook in charge
- To communicate efficiently with the service staff to ensure a smooth service environment for our Customers
- If times allows to help and assist other Cooks to get the job done in time and with quality.
- To ensure that security and lock up procedures in the kitchen are followed to hotel standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Follow kitchen safety and security procedures closely
