~ Key Responsibilities ~
The Technician’s Assistant will be responsible for assisting the fire safety technicians in a number of different capacities while on-site at a customer site.
~ Duties may include, but are not limited to ~
• Retrieving parts and/or tools
• Holding equipment or parts while the technician is servicing/repairing
• Assisting with verification of alarm inspections
• Assisting with clean up
• Other related tasks as assigned
• Perform inspection and service activities on some or all of the following depending on previous experience and qualifications: Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights, Kitchen Suppression Systems, Co2 Systems, Fire Alarms, etc.
• Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality work.
• Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems
• Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective methods to return equipment to working order.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: High school education
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Some mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license
