The Youth at Work/Jeunes Au Travail (JAT) program assists young French/ Bilingual speaking British Columbians 30 years and under, regardless of their level of French English, to find sustainable employment that matches their career plans all while being paid.
An essential asset: "Motivation" This because it is an active program for job search, integration into professional life and improvement of the English language to better integrate into the English-speaking market of British Columbia.

Regular program in Vancouver Island consisting of a 6 week paid orientation workshop “Trade and Career” of 30 hours/week at minimum wage followed by a 14 weeks of subsidized internship in a company or a return to school option available depending on the project. The participants could benefit from an amount of up to $7000 towards their college studies as well as an allowance of $130 for the first 12 weeks.
