Campbell River and District Association for Community Living is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to advocate for services and/or provide for people with special needs, and their families, who live in the Campbell River area.
We are part of the Community Living Services Collective Agreement and CARF accredited.
At Ironwood Place (part of Campbell River and District Association for Community Living) we assist our senior residents to live comfortably and safely within their own home.
This is a modern 54 apartment facility which works closely on-site with other industry related organizations. We provide a range of hospitality services that promote independence, choice and dignity, including two meals a day recreational activities and housekeeping services.
We are looking for MULTI-SKILLED WORKERS who can be available to work on a casual basis, this requires flexibility and great team working skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and give outstanding service to our residents and visitors.
Multi skilled Workers will receive full training and once confident and competent will be expected to provide housekeeping to the building and suites, janitorial for the building, serving in the dining room and responding to resident emergency alarms.
The shifts covered by Multi Skilled Workers are:
7 am – 3pm, 11 am – 3 pm, 11 am – 7 pm, 3 pm – 11pm and 11 pm – 7 am
Flexibility is crucial to the success of candidates for this post.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience of working in a dining room and janitorial duties are an advantage, but not essential.

Food Safe Certification

Vaccination certificate
