An established, successful financial planning practice in the Campbell River IG Wealth Management branch is looking to expand their trusted team of financial planners.
The associate financial planner will help develop custom financial plans for clients and help them grow their wealth through making client focused recommendations. They will oversee the implementation of recommendations and support the lead financial planner to deepen client relationships and maintain client satisfaction. This is a support role, best suited for candidates who don't want to bear the risks and stress of running their own practice, but love financial planning. They will help grow the practice with high net worth clients looking for spectacular and in-depth financial planning solutions. We work in advisory accounts and have access to an enormous selection of 3rd party funds, stocks, ETFs, etc. and give our clients the best comprehensive plans with our newly launched planning software. Our client’s advisory fees are unbundled for transparency and the ability to offer discounts to larger family groups. Qualifications & Experience:
Must-haves
• Financial Planning Designation (PFP or CFP) or willingness to obtain it
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial planning
• Proven client servicing skills
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships
• Insurance license, or the ability to obtain it to start the position
