Job brief
We are looking for a professional Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications.
The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals.
Keep a sanitized, clean and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Very good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school or knowledge of asian cuisine will be an advantage
Ours is a small restaurant with only 3 staff so you will be responsible for the kitchen and work alongside with the prep cook.
Qualifications & Experience:
2-5 years experience in a fast paced kitchen.
Food safe
Requirements
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line cook.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
