ICBC is looking for Senior and Advanced Support & Recovery Specialists to join the Recovery Services Department. This role is dedicated to working with customers who require return to work/return-to-function support.
Your work will positively impact the lives of many British Columbians in accelerating their recovery by implementing and advancing the most appropriate return-to-function/work plan for each customer.

• Permanent, full-time – 37.5 scheduled hours per week
• Start Date – March 8, 2021 (successful candidates must be available to start by this date)
• Training – During 3 weeks of virtual training hours will be ~9-5 Monday to Friday and there will be no vacation approved.
• Hours of Operation – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.
• Salaries – Senior role: $73,615, Advanced role: $79,615

Job Responsibilities
Senior Support & Recovery Specialist: Proactively manages accident benefit case files for customers, as per the ICBC recovery case management model. Provides customers with return to work/function support in addition to access to the necessary treatment and healthcare services. Promotes early intervention through responsive interactions with customers and health care professionals, encouraging the customer to engage with their recovery and actively participate in achieving outcomes.
Advanced Support & Recovery Specialist: Proactively manages accident benefit case files for customers with severe or catastrophic injuries, as per the ICBC recovery case management model. Focuses on supporting the customer and their family in managing the physical and psychological consequences of the accident.
Application Requirements
• An undergraduate degree or diploma (Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Disability Management etc.)
• Professional experience in disability management or vocational rehabilitation, or an equivalent combination of education and direct experience in customer recovery, vocational rehabilitation or disability case management
• Meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA)
• Detail oriented and organized, able to handle multiple files and tasks on a daily basis
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Written and verbal fluency in a second language would be considered a benefit (please indicate on your resume or cover letter)
