Details:
1-2 positions available to offload containers of 8 kg blocks of frozen kelp. 1 container arrives approximately every 2 weeks. Next container should be arriving near mid-January. Containers arrive at any time in the afternoon or evening so shifts may start in the afternoon or evening or continue overnight. Flexible start times available.
Due to Covid-19, only 1 person working in the container at the time. Masks and gloves will be provided. Labourers will have to provide rain gear and safety toed footwear.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with offloading containers or forklifts is an asset but not essential. Physically fit enough to access container and lift 8 kg blocks of frozen seaweed.
Must be willing and able to work in inclement or cold weather.
