Job Description
A national property investment group that owns and operates residential properties throughout Canada is looking to hire a Property Manager to manage 48 units Port Hardy, BC. This is a newly renovated building.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operational/Administrative:
Establish appointments and conduct unit showings with prospective tenants
Arrange move-in and out inspections and prepare reports
Manage rent roll
Post rental ads to attract new tenants
Must be proficient with various computer software programs (i.e. Word, Excel)
Other duties as assigned
Maintenance
Manage tenant maintenance requests
Schedule all cleaning.
Qualifications and Requirements
Prior Property Management experience
Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act and building systems
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle
Excellent customer service, time management and relationship building skills
