ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assume ownership regarding the cleanliness of the hotel as a whole. A team member who is responsible for the thorough cleaning of guest rooms after check outs, and during the guest stay. Ensure that the hotel’s public areas are also tended to and kept clean and presentable at all times.
• Clean guest rooms dependent on whether it is a check out room, or a guest staying over.
• Prioritize your rooms based on early arrivals and amount of rooms needed by check in time at 3pm.
• Stock all housekeeping rooms and carts to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the workplace
• Assist in the overall cleanliness of the hotel pool area, lobby area, public areas and any washrooms
• Assist in any tasks the housekeeping supervisor, or any other member of the management team assigns
• Proactively look for ways to ensure the cleanliness and overall appeal of the hotel to guests
• Take pride and ownership in cleaning the hotel based on the Choice Hotels standards
• Follow all standards that the hotel is scored on by the Choice Hotel franchise
