Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a recognized accounting designation supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years of senior municipal or related financial management experience. The candidate will be comfortable in a computerized environment and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with A-MAIS accounting systems and a sound knowledge of computer networking would be beneficial.
This high-profile role requires a professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to deal effectively with Council, a wide variety of internal customers, members of the community and government agencies.
