Details:
We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our Team.
The duties and responsibilities of this role may include but, not be limited to:
-Responsible for the development and execution of all digital marketing, social content and advertising campaign to support hotel and brand goals as well as other businesses such as k’awat’si Construction, Cold Storage Facility, Gwanak Resources, k’awat’si Tours as well as k’awat’si Marine services.
-Design, build and maintain all social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube etc.).
This includes content creation, posting, execution, follower engagement and responsiveness.
-Develop engaging online content including forums, videos, graphics, blogs and closely monitor content success and customer engagement.
-Analyze key metrics that unite the hotel’s website traffic, use Google Analytics, Google Ad Words and other relevant sites.
-Graphic design, web design, and video to create unique and engaging content.
-Develop and maintain website and create engaging content to drive organic traffic and brand interest.
-Create relevant content calendars to reach the Hotel and restaurant consumers which are to be reviewed on weekly basis.
-Generate monthly reports on our Social media and marketing campaign’s performance.
-Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information.
-Collaborate with agencies, media / fashion bloggers, lifestyle bloggers, travel bloggers and other partners.
-Responsible to monitor channels for any positive or negative posts or opportunities to surprise and delight guests.
-Identification of trade shows, Wedding, corporate conferences, travel and tourism shows etc.
-Guidance and support on promoting our banquet and catering offering for the hotel.
-Identify local buyers/market demand for products for all businesses if needed.
-Lead public relations activities including story development and organizing media visits.
-Create on-property and off property social media presence and events to drive awareness and engagement.
-Outreach to local and top market media for hotel visits, on-site entertainment and other experiences to develop relationships and pitch relevant stories for the hotel/brand.
-Explore new ancillary product lines & product 'packages' (merchandise, bottled sauces, hotel/tourism/restaurant sales).
-Assist in marketing for Fish processing for Cold Storage facility.
-Targeted communication plan for Group and FIT operators to increase peak season bookings and extend shoulder season bookings.
-Leverage media opportunities and social media posts from influential bloggers/writers to foster brand awareness.
-Ensure the timely implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions.
-Conduct online market research to identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients.
-Meet annual sales goals while maintaining budget.
-Assist in developing and presenting budget, marketing, and communication initiatives.
-Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing customers to all Businesses.
-Assist in the preparation of reports and projects, planning and organizing promotional presentations etc.
-Attend Community networking functions and workshops.
-Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
-Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years Marketing experience preferred.
Bachelors degree or related education in Marketing preferred.
