Pay: starting at $22, after probation (3 program sessions) $23

Working Hours:
During Programs (approx. 50% time): 40 hrs. per week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., minus 1 hr. lunch, 5 days per week. Shift hours may vary as per need, but will average. Days off are mostly during the weekdays and not necessarily 2 days in a row. See our program dates https://www.healthretreat.ca/health-retreat-dates/
Between Programs (the rest of the time): 30 hrs. per week, Mon to Fri 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., minus 1 hr. lunch. Exception: last Sat before the program is a working day and may be longer. Note: There will be 2 additional days off after each program (less hours that week) and 3-4 weeks layoff in Dec-Jan.
Duties Summary:
• DURING PROGRAM: Session Preparation and Session Support (documentation management, clients’ assistance, spa appointments bookings, supplies etc.)
• BETWEEN PROGRAMS: Assist Program Manager with projects (online directories, partner program, HR documentation management)
• Procedure development, update and conduct team training
• Receptionist and back-up Program Consultant
Qualifications & Experience:
Key Qualifications:
Education and/or good understanding in the area of Natural Health. If you do not have official education (f. ex. Registered Natural Health Consultant), but have solid understanding of natural health, you’ll need to get the certification at your own cost. Note: You will be dealing daily with people who have various health challenges and you’ll need to use your expertise to make decisions, just like nurse in a hospital.
Office management skills, inventory management and vendor relationships, sourcing supplies. MINIMUM 5 years of office management or similar experience + must be technically savvy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Many clients come with severe depression, to quit smoking - and it requires a high level of professionalism to understand what they are going through and to address their various requests, when you are in the afternoon on staff.
