Ocean Pacific Marine is the largest marine store and boatyard on the North Island, providing parts and service to recreational boaters and commercial vessels in the Campbell River area since 1985.
We currently accepting applications for a: Coordinator of Safety, Quality & Environment
The Coordinator’s primary duties would include:
• working hands on with all departments to ensure company activities are being performed to legislated health, safety & environmental standards
• developing new procedures and ensuring existing procedures are being followed
• performing duties of a first aid attendant on the work site. Holding a current Occupational First Aid level 2 or higher
• working closely with the management team to maintain the company Quality Management System to ISO 9001 standards
• assisting with other administrative duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have Certification in Health & Safety and at least 2 years experience coordinating industrial health & safety programs. Experience with quality management systems will be considered an asset. Candidates with experience in the marine industry will be given priority.
This is a permanent full-time, Monday-Friday position. Extended medical & dental benefits are available.
