Job Description:
You will be responsible for preparing cleaning solutions according to procedures, processing and delivering laundry in accordance with policy and procedures, cleaning common areas around the building while following standard precautions and infection control procedures, removing garbage and recycling, and completes other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:
What we are looking for:
-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
-Current First-aid level 1 certificate (or willing to obtain upon hire)
-Positive attitude and strong work ethic
-Able to read, write and speak the English language
-Reliable attendance
-Previous experience in the housekeeping and/or laundry will be an asset
-Able to work independently and as part of a team
Important note: **A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment. Proof of Tuberculosis Screening Test results will be required. **
Start date: Immediate, but position will remain open until filled.
Compensation:
$16.00/hr + $1.00 when working Evening or Night Shifts
$16.00/hr when working all other shifts
Shifts:
Regular rotation of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off - with ability to do 4 on 2 off rotation when required.
Evening shifts are from 3:30PM - 11:30PM with a paid 30 minute lunch break
Night shifts are from 11:30PM - 7:30AM the following morning with a paid 30 minute lunch break
Laundry Aides are unable to leave the premises during their shifts for security reasons
